6.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days using the original payment method. Refunds do not include any bank or payment processing fees.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All educational materials, content, curriculum design, and resources remain the property of Luminos Advisory. This includes written materials, presentations, worksheets, and digital content.

7.2 Usage License

Participants receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use educational materials for their own learning purposes. This license does not permit:

  • Reproduction or distribution to others
  • Commercial use of any kind
  • Modification or creation of derivative works
  • Removal of copyright or proprietary notices

8. Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality of participant information and individual consultation discussions. In group settings, participants are expected to respect the privacy of other participants and not share personal information discussed during sessions.

Our confidentiality practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Educational Purpose

Our programmes provide general financial education and information. Content is not tailored to individual circumstances and does not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, tax advice, or legal counsel. Participants should consult appropriate professionals for advice specific to their situations.

9.2 No Guarantees

While we strive for educational excellence, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation in our programmes. Financial success depends on numerous factors beyond education, including personal circumstances, market conditions, and individual decisions.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminos Advisory's liability for any claims arising from programme participation is limited to the fees paid for the relevant programme. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including financial losses resulting from decisions made after participation.

9.4 Participant Responsibility

Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own financial decisions and for seeking appropriate professional advice when needed. Participation in our programmes does not create a fiduciary or advisory relationship.

10. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully with educators and other participants
  • Maintain confidentiality of other participants' information
  • Use programme materials and resources appropriately
  • Refrain from disruptive behavior during sessions
  • Not record sessions without explicit permission

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these standards without refund.

11. Termination

We may terminate participation in our programmes if:

  • Payment obligations are not met
  • Terms and conditions are violated
  • Participant conduct is inappropriate or disruptive
  • Circumstances beyond our control prevent programme delivery

Termination for non-payment or conduct violations does not entitle participants to refunds. Termination due to our inability to deliver services will result in pro-rated refunds.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

If concerns or disputes arise, we encourage participants to contact us first for informal resolution. Most issues can be addressed through direct communication.

12.2 Mediation

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other dispute resolution methods. Mediation costs will be shared equally.

12.3 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any programme-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between participants and Luminos Advisory.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

13.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.

13.4 Assignment

Participants may not transfer their enrollment or rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms to another entity.

13.5 Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to enrolled participants. Continued participation after changes indicates acceptance of modified terms.
